Thomas Moore and Finnegans Wake
The names of all the original airs of all of Thomas Moores melodies are in FW. Moore arrived in Bermuda in 1804 and wrote of its beauty

FW and the Book of Kells
James Joyce used many models for the development of Finnegans Wake, one of them is the book of Kells. You see in this particular section, the Tunc page both underlying structure and spirals of detail. This is the same for FW, which does have an underlying structure (I just havnt been able to find it just yet and many accretions of detail.
